Somewhere over the rainbow, but still somewhere on the globe, at the time when you were born, the sun or Venus or Jupiter was rising or descending brightly on the horizon; or climbing to the midheaven above your head or hitting the nadir below your feet in order to appear from the underworld again. Visiting such a place creates a powerful psychological drama and initiates a mythic journey. World-traveling astrologer Jim Lewis utilized more precise astronomical coordinates to develop this theory and invented a new system of astrology called Astro*Carto*Graphy.
In 1992, while Jim Lewis was still living and visiting London, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to learn the theory and technique of ACG at his workshop directly from him.
Since 1996, I have consulted many of the horoscopes of visitors and immigrants in Japan. They approved of how appropriately ACG works to help them understand the meaning of their stay on foreign soil.
Also I use traditional relocated charts based on the accurate birth time of your horoscope. In the case of a client who feels a strong affinity with the ethos of the nation, I look at the national horoscope to see how it overlaps the personal horoscope.
Adding to that, Japanese astrology (kigaku) is useful to determine the beneficial year/month and fortunate angles of direction when moving to a new house for instance.

If inner reality is almost unconscious, it happens outside as fate. That's how astrology works and describes the event with its symbolic language. Shadowed or split parts of the psyche represented by the planets of the horoscope constellate a complex or sub-personality, manifested in transitional events, relationships, and locations.
